Meet Dr. Harris
Aimee Harris, MD
For more than 20 years, Dr. Aimee Harris has had the privilege of caring for children and supporting families through every stage of childhood. She believes exceptional pediatric care begins with trust, unhurried conversations, and a genuine partnership with parents.
Dr. Harris earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, where she competed as a Division I volleyball athlete. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating first in her class, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She went on to build a thriving pediatric practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, caring for thousands of children and developing lasting relationships with families across generations.
Dr. Harris founded Basecamp Pediatric Wellness to provide a more personalized approach to pediatric care. Her fee-for-service mobile practice offers longer appointments, telemedicine, mobile visits, direct communication, and same- or next-day availability whenever possible—giving families the time, accessibility, and individualized attention that can be difficult to find in traditional pediatric practices. She continues to care for patients in California while bringing this same relationship-based approach to families in Jackson Hole and beyond.
Passionate about whole-child health, Dr. Harris combines evidence-based medicine with a focus on nutrition, movement, sleep, emotional well-being, and healthy family habits. She is continuing advanced training in integrative medicine to further expand the tools she offers families.
Now at home in Jackson Hole, Dr. Harris embraces the values behind the name Basecamp: adventure, resilience, curiosity, and a love of the outdoors. A mother of four herself, she understands the joys and challenges of parenting. Outside of medicine, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, paddleboarding, and exploring the mountains with family and friends.
Her goal is simple: to provide exceptional pediatric care that gives families confidence, reassurance, and a trusted physician who is truly invested in their child's health, development, and well-being.
